It was unfortunate that he chose that course of conduct as I was merely stating my position so that the discussion could develop from a better understanding of my views on these labels.
In fact, we have more evidence of Indian Trinidadians on the local radios and the Internet posing as Africans to give some very bigoted views. I suspect that some of this may be taking place on this board.
Be that as it may, it really shows the extent of the insecurities of some people.
Why would Africans need to call Indians 'Black' as a means of degrading them? The truth is some of the views that come from some Indians who adopt a fundamentalist Hindu approach are similar to that of White racism. So it is necessary at times to highlight the fact that there are Black Indians who feel the same way we do about their Caste/Hindu fundamentalist approach to dividing the country (quite literally) along racial lines. It is also important to let them and others know that all over the world people have recognized the injustices done to Black Indians as a result of their Hindu Caste Mentality.
We need to draw distinctions between those with the Caste mentality and those who have genuine understanding of our humanity. When we don't you end up with Indians pretending to support African struggles then trying to usurp the exercise in favor of a fanatical Hindu structure of inferior and superior based on some misunderstood notion of Caste status. This eventually is about trying to disenfranchise Blacks because on their skin color.
