In the year 2000, the SRP Adjutant, in speaking to a whole hall packed with SRPs, said; "Yes, all will get pension and gratuity even if you did not make the 10 years from now. All your service as a full time SRP will be accumulated to compute for pension and gratuity.” SRPs were then asking, like cross questioning, the Adjutant on these matters to make sure we were not being fooled. And really, for those who accepted money and resigned? That is the formula they used. So it is said to me: “You should have taken the package.” And: “You could get back yuh money U-no.”
So then it was not hard to believe that they will do like the Apache and keep their word, and not speak with a forked tongue like others. Ssssssssssss
