I was reading in the Express how Lara's bastard daughter was celebrating his accomplishment on TV. Here is my own contribution.
Is there a Black scientist whose name has been used to identify a physical quantity? You know, the name of famous scientists are used to identify physical quantities:
Newton (pictured) --> unit of force
Ampere --> unit of electricity
Volt --> unit of voltage (Alessandor Volta)
Hertz --> measure of frequency
Gauss --> unit of magnetic density
Tesla --> unit of magnetic field
Rankin --> unit of temperature
Kelvin --> another unit of temperature
Celsius --> another unit of temperature
Henry --> unit of inductance
Faraday --> unit of capacitance (electricity)
Ohm --> electrical resistance
Watt --> power
Joule --> energy
Coloumb --> electrical charge Pascal --> pressure
Siemen --> electrical conductivity
Weber --> magnetic flux
etc...
Mandela --> unit of how long a tire will burn whilst hanging around the neck and doused with one litre of gas.
Lara--> maximum extent of African skill.
