Chickens are but the tip of the iceberg. There are many products considered to be unfit for human consumption in the US that are brokered overseas. And as usual Governments that are reactionary and deemed to be "Third World" always succumb to these kinds of nonsense.
We do not have the kinds of mechanisms in place to deal with matters as simple as this chicken incident nor is our Government caring enough to put our people before profits. It is apparent that the "play Mas" mentality prevails in every facet of our National life. However, one has to understand that we like it so, don't you think?
