Police yesterday launched a manhunt for a woman and her brother in the sexual and physical abuse of children. <\/p>\n
Northern and Southern Division police searched both Laventille and Princes Town for the couple, who has been closely linked with operations at a Claxton Bay home. The two have allegedly been squandering funds and starving the children, police said.

\nSources said four of the children, who were reportedly raped and molested, also gave statements to officers yesterday. They underwent medical examinations on Monday that revealed they had been sexually violated. <\/p>\n
Police said they also raided a house in Princes Town and arrested a 33-year-old man. He is alleged to have repeatedly raped one of the children at the home. <\/p>\n
The children were rescued from the house last Saturday, after police received reports that they had been facing physical and sexual abuse. <\/p>\n
Police said charges of wilful neglect could be laid once investigations are complete. \u2014RS <\/p>\n
