Senator Al Rawi Corridored Or Corroded Vision

By Stephen Kangal
July 20, 2014

Stephen KangalEast-West corridored-vision, PNM Senator Faris Al Rawi, a foreign born Senator must strive to conceptualize an inclusionary development vision that takes into account all of T&T and not be concretised or fossilized in the traditional, POS-centric, PNM agenda where POS has the divine lien on all the resources of the state.

How can this Senator facing an imminent General Elections criticize the siting of the Ministry of Transport building at the old Caroni Ltd locomotive traffic site? It is centrally located and will be easily accessible with the building of the new Highway?

The Building Under Construction in Caroni along the Southern Main Road
Building Under Construction in Caroni along the Southern Main Road

This facility also gives us in Caroni access to ancillary jobs/ attendant developmental benefits that were the sole preserve of POS residents.

It is also very accessible to motorists from South, East and Central and will avoid traffic congestion into and out of POS where Wrightson Road Office had created a ghetto. POS is no longer the sole retailer of new and old cars with the foreign-used cars industry mushrooming in Central and South including the near-by Bamboo. The dealers can now access the MVA without the sweat and hassle on the congested CRH/Beetham Highway/Wrightson Road and the old buildings of the current site.

After the 2001 elections the PNM had abandoned the refurbished Walker Park and is now in total disuse to spite the people of Caroni. We are bracing for more spite from the PNM against those of us who toiled in the sugar industry and are living south of the Caroni and contributing to national development.

The PNM cannot and will not change its modus operandi of always being stuck mentally within its ethnic-box. It cannot accept that T&T has changed politically. The new prevailing political ethic has an all-inclusive vision that extends beyond the PNM-conceived Arima-POS tunneled- vision.

We cannot allow the PNM to repeat and recreate its exclusionary and vindictive political history including foisting this foreign -fathered Senator with electorally-motivated, false claims to having direct lineage to the Holy Prophet Mohammed (UWBP).

When will the overt and covert ethnic agenda/appeal of the PNM ever change to conform to the new political reality prevailing in T&T of equitable development for all?

  1. The PNM and its supporters are struggling with the acceptance of the political, social and cultural changes which have occurred in T&T. The gradual erosion of their status quo is causing them sleepless nights. Even if the PNM wins the next election the country will never again accept the customary modus operandi of the PNM, characterised by favoritism, discrimination, and isolation of the Central and Southern areas. Rowley’s courting of Deyalsingh and others of similar descent clearly indicates his recognition and awareness of this change factor and his strong desire to become PM.

  2. I fell a hint that this article is all about racism but there are no clear indication. The words are heavily coded and as usual it is all about how bad the PNM is. Maybe some more details will help those of us who are in the dark.

    1. Obviously Kian you see racism in everything. Indian people don’t see racism in everything because we come in all shades. Bollywood actors look white but if you go to Madrass the people are black with kinky hair.

The PNM is no longer relevant to the future of TnT. They have always turn to foreigners who come and steal and act above the law. Kian this goes way back to Eric days when O Hallaran stole billions to build the majestic twin towers in Scarborough Ontario Canada. Manning was no different when he hired Nigerian guards to secure his palace and need I say more he chose Calder Hart another foreigner who to this day has escape the justice system. The PNM for major projects have hired foreign engineers while the PP as Suruj would tell you is using local talent.

To date the only leader the PNM can find for the next election is a Tobagonian. A man who is known for his wajang behavior again we can see the foreign influence by his chief sidekick Al Rawi being of Iraqi extraction.Like the O Hallarans, Calders, Rawi pocket is being full courtesy the multi million deal for 1 Alexandria Place, it remains unoccupied to date as an example of PNM Thiefry.

What can anyone learn from the PNM of today? Nothing really but that they are very good at winning or stealing elections.

I am in favour of moving some of those ministry offices to Central. Tell me Kian why does everything have to be in Port of Spain???

      1. You forgot about Francis Prevatt, Eric’s right hand man who stole so much that he escaped to Costa Rica in exile with millions. He could not return to Trinidad for fear of being arrested.

      2. “Indian people don’t see racism in everything”…..False, your caste system made sure that there will always be racism. “because we come in all shades.”……….True
        “Bollywood actors look white”………True
“but if you go to Madrass the people are black with kinky hair.”………….True
“The PNM is no longer relevant to the future of TnT. “…..False, it is the only party relevant for the future of T&T…. the Indian nation Kamla is trying to create will never work. “They have always turn to foreigners who come and steal and act above the law.” …Like Calder Hart but Kamla gave us Gibbs…..Nonsense
“Kian this goes way back to Eric days when O Hallaran stole billions to build the majestic twin towers in Scarborough Ontario Canada.”…….How many billions SIS with its over 73 companies are getting? Besides you all have Eric to thank for turning you onto education, the black man never go it as fast as you did.
“Manning was no different when he hired Nigerian guards to secure his palace ” … False, Manning had a palace? Nigerian? elucidate!
“Calder Hart another foreigner who to this day has escape the justice system. “…….Really? what are the charges?
“The PNM for major projects have hired foreign engineers while the PP as Suruj would tell you is using local talent.”……Wow! thats why over $300b spent by the PPP and we can’t see anything for that money.
“To date the only leader the PNM can find for the next election is a Tobagonian. “…..Isn’t he a citizen of this country just as you are? or is it that you are only a ‘true national’ because Kamla is PM?
“A man who is known for his wajang behavior “…..exactly the type of behavior we need to deal with the current situation, one thing we definitely don’t need is another smiling face PM.
“we can see the foreign influence by his chief sidekick Al Rawi being of Iraqi extraction”…..Aren’t we all mixed with something?
“Like the O Hallarans, Calders, Rawi pocket is being full courtesy the multi million deal for 1 Alexandria Place”….You don’t need to go back that far, read the papers – Invaders Bay, Life Support, Caroni lands, Chaguramas lands, FCB, etc etc etc… do I need to remind you? nah!
“What can anyone learn from the PNM of today?” …Everything, they gave you the education you boast of today, they opened your eyes, they are the only fair people, they do not do things only because it is good for Indians, they do it for everybody, regardless of race, color or creed. I will address these issues in the near future in a blog spanning from 1845 to 1962.

    2. On what basis can the rationalisation of the siting of the new Licensing Authority in Caroni away from the traffic congested roads leading to POS be construed as racism when the siting of it in POS in not?
Those of us who have suffered from alienation and marginilisation from the urbanism (coded word) of the PNM know how vindictive the PNM can be since 1956 that I have witnessed as a boy only 16 years old.
The location of the proposed MVA in Caroni is a clear manifestation of decentralisation to the benefit of all the people of T&T. As I said POS alone does not sell new cars any longer.

      1. “Those of us who have suffered from alienation and marginilisation from the urbanism (coded word) of the PNM know how vindictive the PNM can be since 1956 that I have witnessed as a boy only 16 years old.”………Kangal
The PNM NEVER marginalized you – it is the racism inherent in your caste believing history that marginalized you. Your history never allowed you to mingle and be a part of anything that was colloquial Trinidadian culture. You were insistent on keeping to your own, however foreign it was (at the time) so that an introduction to behavior other than what you knew was foreign to you especially if it came from the African side of the culture. You would be less hesitant to adhere to the white man’s culture, even though he was miscreant in his behavior towards you, because you view him then and still does him as superior.
The environs surrounding my upbringing was mostly Indian. As a young boy going to primary school, my schooling was presbyterian and catholic. In the catholic school, even though the hindus were in the minority, when the government introduced the milk feeding programme the majority recipients were of hindu stock, why? because it was perceived that they needed it more than people like me. At that time I never thought so, because I felt that I needed it as much as them. But it was denied me. Even so, I never felt marginalized.

  3. “The UNC and its supporters are struggling with the acceptance of the political, social and cultural changes which have occurred in T&T. The gradual erosion of their status quo is causing them sleepless nights. Even if the UNC wins the next election the country will never again accept the customary modus operandi of the UNC characterised by favoritism, discrimination, and isolation of the Central and Southern areas. Kamla’s courting of Makandal Dagga, Mayaro Eatahfooder in chief Winston Peters, anti working people, Errol Mc Cloud, Dr Tobago loquacious Baker, Tobago TOP Heavy , clueless Jack, FIFA , UNC high financer, anti cabal-Jack Warner, now discarded Social Worker activist, Mama Verna St Rose, and others of similar descent clearly indicates his recognition and awareness of change factor and his strong desire to become PM.” T Man
Excellent observation, my Country hating , Euro Canadian wannabe pizzano!
Someone needs to remind the tribe, that there are specific reasons, as to why the Trade Union party , of theirs, only won two out of 500 national Elections, in some 52 years, of our country’s history.
Repeat after me my brother Zip TMan, as the Dr. Goopiesing, that Phony legal luminary AG Rammy, hatemonger Suraj , and your Auntie K, Spiritual adviser, Sat Maraj, needs reminding, of one indisputable fact, and here it is:-‘De Guyanarization of T&T, will never be allowed to take place,’in our blessed Republic.
Who the hell do these people think they are, pointing fingers, and pontificating about race, neo ethnic divisions, and bogus discrimination, when each time the people bounce their collective heads, and give them power, they then turn around, and kick them in the rear end?
Just remember, how you and others were able to see Canada T Man, and why today most of our citizens need a Visa to visit the CN Towers, or Niagara Falls.
Ummm, Papa Basdeo undermining Aw wee Bouy ,ANR government, then encouraging you social bums, to cry Refugee,in every White European Embassy, across the globe, so as to obtain favorable treatment.
A word of caution , to dem selectively outraged, Cyber yappers. Please leave our hard working , pro Islamist ,Senator Faris Al Rawi, alone.
Back in the nineties, you guys loved former Horse police/goalkeeper , Lennox Phillip, aka ,Yasin Abu Bkar, when he and his goons, were destroying T&T.For a while, you loved the foreign born, State lawyer, turn incompetent Judge, and politician lightweight, Volney.
We do not give a hoot ,if the good Senator, claim to be from Mongolia, be a nephew of the late King Hussain of Jordan, great grandson of Suleiman de Magnificent , Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini, or King Fahd of the Saudi Kingdom.
As long as a citizen , cares about his fellow nationals, by thoughts, words, deeds, and action, he , or she is fine by us Trini progressives, and will always be supported.
I luv this land, Y tu?

  4. Just another thought about the seemingly Stephen Kangal suggestion that Chaguanas should replace POS as the capital, or be the next big city after the capital or it should be the town where everybody should go for commerce, government business and entertainment (he didn’t actually say that but alluded to something like that). In its present form Chaguanas presents many logistical problems to be considered an ideal city, starting with the difficulty in moving from the right side of the road to the left side. Its exits and entrances causes movement of traffic to be extremely slow and complicated. It does not have a deep water port and infrastructure to deal with international commerce and relations. Forgive me if I’m interjecting too much but I’m trying hard to figure what this article is about and maybe those who understand better than I do can likewise correct me if I appear to be saying something something that was not meant to be. I hear TMan and it is how bad the PNM is/was, Steven thinks (I suppose) that AlWari is trying to appeal to the East/West corridor. If that is so, what are the national implications and how do we develop or move forward by their ideas? Like I said, maybe these people can elucidate!

    1. In my opinion Port of Spain will always be the capital, I don’t understand the word replace. I do believe that some of the ministries for example Agriculture should be moved to Central where being closer to the field would better serve the citizenry. Everything is in Port of Spain making the city highly congested, at least five of the ministries should be move to Central a mere 35 minutes away.

The government was moving forward with this plan but the PNM lead union kicked against it, however the plan should be revised when Chaguanas achieve city status, the land is available to do so..

    2. Caroni is far away from Chaguanas and you should get your geography right before commenting on the politics or of Chagunanas as a city centre just like San Fernando.
Chaguanas by all the criteria is eminently qualified for city status unless Indians do not have the right to be city dwellers.

  5. Don’t worry Bro Kain, for you ain’t miss nada.That-s ‘Much ado about nothing,’ by another, typical national ingrate, who spent a lifetime sucking like a greedy piglet, at Afro governmental breast, while producing nothing tangible in return.
Then once,(as in his specific case) off the grand- Foreign affairs stage -is whining like a cantankerous old maid ,about everything, outside of the pathetic stewardship of their leaders.
Care to name one single, coherent Foreign policy, his neo tribal regime has initiated , since assuming power, and worst yet, since his ‘spineless ,eatah fooder, big end economic luminary guru leader ,’ abandon the party Karl Hudson Phillip built, to travel the globe, and drink tea/ eat caviar ,with global leaders, while serving as Foreign Minister?
Yeah we know , open the floodgates to East, and South Asians, while treating or neighboring Afro Caribbean, and Latino brothers , and sisters, like ugly , evil species ,from Mars.
Chagurnas as T&T capital? Perish the thought!Maybe the joke of the century. Only a delusional creature, would wish to elevate an overcrowded, congested , unregulated, pro flooding cesspool, laden with country leeching business blokes, as a capital.
Tell him Kian ,that the tribe would get their wishes, as soon as their government decide, to adhere to basic tenets of our anthem -ensuring that “every creed, and race, finds an equal place , “at the table , so as to share the fast depleting, national economic pie.
Let’s begin with the most neglected 116 square miles in our entire Republic-in my Tobago.
What is most laughable, is the fact that these so called, intelligent, bozos believe , that because they replace the word AFRICANS, with PNM, each time they wish to denounce a people, they are deceiving us.
Tell dem they lie Kian.We know exactly how they feel about all members of ‘Afro Kinky head nations,’ both domestically , and globally.
Love humanity people, and forget the tribe, for failure so to do, can have dire consequences, hmmm?
Trust me on that. When some our phony international experts , were busy writing useless memos , to give away our resources, I was out there observing realities , while working on the grand stage.
Let’s find a way to save / preserve our T&T , Bro Kian.

Very well put my erudite friend. As Kofi Annan put it, Ignorance and prejudice are the handmaidens of propaganda. Our mission, therefore, is to confront ignorance with knowledge, bigotry with tolerance, and isolation with the outstretched hand of generosity. Racism can, will, and must be defeated. We have seen how skillfully those handmaidens are use in this blog to spin spin and present prejudice in a format presumed to be unrecognizable. It is an illusory presumption, because no amount of spin can obfuscate that which represent a racist maligning of the kinky hair majority of this region.

The fact of the matter is, those kinky hair people would be acceptable if they would only know their place. If they would only allow themselves to be stratified accordingly so that the aspiring “Massas” enjoy that inverse proportional ethnic ego high that makes their day. But it is too late.

The Kinky hair people have a history of opening their doors to everyone. They have a history of supporting the commerce of all and sundry. They have no history of, or belief system that orders them to feel superior. Yes, they do have their fair share of asses and imbeciles, but so do everyone else.

What the Kinky hair people need to commence to do immediately, and with a fervor that leaves no doubt about their position, is to be intolerant of racial prejudice regardless of how adroitly and fancy it is packaged. I agree with you fully that they need to love humanity and forget tribe when the national interest comes under consideration. And they need to adopt the position of being willing to dialogue and enter into brotherhood and sisterhood, while refusing to waste time on those who think that the obligation is on the kinky haired people to sacrifice and agonize over such relationship or lack thereof. It is waste of time and effort to seek relationships with those who expect obsequiousness and genuflection to be the attitude the kinky haired bring to such relationship.

  7. ‘Perception is a reality’ When one quotes from experience as a youth and use such in critical terms it does not help to forge unity for the future generations. In fact it holds the bitterness and rancour that exists within for the present generation and promotes division.

Grow up! because all of all have experienced terrible things in their individual lives that remain indelible in our minds but then there is the benefits we received from ALL. The law of average man!

“Pluralitas non est ponenda sine neccesitate” is a Latin saying that means, “Things oughtn’t to be elaborated unnecessarily”.

  8. Rodwell, your contribution is well put and I must say that I had to read it more than one time because your are to the point
in terms of who we are, what we do and our trusting nature we are portrayed in negative stereotypical caricature by the media, so that everyone think that they can take a shot at us for their own failings, basically we are a well-meaning people and are willing to allow all citizens a fair share. More so, we in Trinidad are too willing to “let gone byes be gone byes”, hence the predicament we have today where a government is not simply changing policy but is also determining how that person carrying out policy MUST look like. This is heavy and subtle stuff. I suppose it would not be allowed to happen in Jamaica, Barbados too is subtle enough not to allow that to go too far, but our kinky hair nation is just too docile in terms of the intricacies of the implementation of these morbid genuflections which would have the effect of going to sleep and when you wake up you end up in another land. Yes, just think, FCB has been around for all these years and considered one of the best, if not the best bank for the poor man. In come this administration and (with the loss of HCU) decided that ownership must shift to a certain type. While the framers of the financial and institutional policies never meant it that way, they took upon themselves to use these loopholes to make it work to their personal and racial advantages. All this done in the open using legal means and legitimate values to transfer monetary power to them. This is non-consequential to the man in the street but it has future ramifications that would put us in an inferior and backward position as a people, because we would literally have to beg for our “daily bread”. That is how cunning this government operates. Take for example, from July 26 to August 6 a kind of “freeness” is being offered by way of allowing the “poor man” to buy flour at a discount rate of 20%. While the poor man “saves” a paltry 20 cents or maybe a dollar, think of there manipulations of the distributors of millions maybe hundreds of millions pounds of flour, see how much they make by way of collecting money from the treasury and then selling back the savings to the same “poor man” come August 7? How cunning! We just can’t go on “accepting”, we must question! The are just too many under-handedness going on that we do not take enough time too question. If we love this nation, we have to save this nation. If we have to save there are those wolves in sheep clothing that we must expose, otherwise they will devour our herds and we would be left with no supplies. When the time comes, those with money can always run to Canada (they love immigrants with plenty money), UK – ditto, U.S. – ditto and for the more ethnically inclined Sri Lanka or Bangladesh where they might be offered a more opulent lifestyle with their millions and billions. So, I am appealing to my kinky head people, read, understand, understand subtlety, read between the lines, don’t take mamaguy, be proud, work towards your goal, speak up for yourselves (no one would do that for you), our “educated brothers”, who became opulent in retirement by way of pensions get up and smell the coffee ( as the saying goes), educate the less-informed, give them “new eyes” so that they can see, have a conversation with the less informed let them know what is going on. If we do nothing our children and grandchildren will suffer because when their time comes they will be no different from the fate their ancestors who came in chains and did not even “earn” the natural senses that god gave to them. Time to wake up!

    1. When is the PNM finally going to purge itself of ancient and wholly inappropriate sentiments? (Martin Daly)
This question must be asked again in the face of these sentiments expressed by the three blind mice; Kian, Rodwell and Neal.

      1. TMan it would be nice to have you engage in an intellectual exercise where you don’t have to talk about PNM and UNC.

While lamenting sometime aback, about the plight of his fellow Africans, and seeking a way forward, it was the late, great, Stokely Carmichael, who once said the following:–“The masses don’t shed their blood for the benefit of a few individuals.”
No truer words were ever spoken, my fellow cyber progressives.
I have said it once, twice, and maybe three times, but it is worth repeating, as it is most appropriate, especially for ‘Global Africans, ‘many of which-whether or not, they wish to accept the fact -are still stuck in a state of squalor, social neglect, poverty, and hopeless despair.
The oppressed masses ,can never be liberated, elevated, or fully empowered, unless, a social/ and politically enlightened middle class, rise up, and take the lead.
They will continue to grab like crabs , in a Mayaro barrel, once self serving idiots ,from within their ranks , are allowed to take the lead, and given a forum by the conniving, to spew their bile-as a price, for the acquisition of that much coveted, 30 pieces of silver.
Translation-I have my picket fenced house ,on de hills, or rather, the lofty plains , and so, to hell with everyone else, unwilling to step up to the plate.
Yeah Gypsy, under Captain George Chambers, the Trini Ship was sinking, but fast forward to 2014, and Mama Kamla , is proving to be the most astute leader ,in the entire Commonwealth history, so no reason for citizens to be concern.
You are correct, only that “little Black Boy ,”should incur any wrath, as to our nation woes .
Let me guess, you fully endorse the learned view, of Professor Emeritus , Dr.Selwyn Ryan, that Soca music is the cause of crimes in T&T.
I wonder if he likewise see some neo sociological correlation between Chutney Soca, and corruption, or worst yet ,common suicides , that are so prevalent in certain , unmentionable enclaves?

    http://m.guardian.co.tt/news/2013-03-25/ryan-crime-report-soca-music-breeding-criminals

Tell you what my Gerrycurl hair loving amigo. Why don’t you ,and others in your UNC dominant government, try treating Mayaro, Separia, Caroni, Chagurnas, Penal, Tabaquite , El Secorro/ Aranguez, and Fizabad, where most of our fellow Indo Trini citizens reside, with similar disrespect, contempt, and blatant neglect, the way ‘you allzs,’ have done, not only to historically ignored, and maligned Tobago, but every Afro dominant enclave across our country, and see, what will be the consequential fall out.
Hey folks, rumor has it, that FIFA /UNC -Politically green-business guru, Jack Warner, would be at home ,cuddled with his wife, at say 1am , and one of his desperate Chagurnas supporters, would knock his door, seeking a favor, and he Jack would kick his wife off the bed , to quickly run and offer assistance.
Yep, the same Winston Peters cousin, who was ready to join a certain overambitious ,fake Chinee Mayor, to “bring out the big guns,” and resurrected Black folks murdering Flying Squad , to allegedly curb crimes.
    See a pattern here people?
Let’s just say, opportunistic Morgan Job, and Lincoln Mayers, ain’t have nada on these self loathing creatures, ennnt?

China’s Mao,India’s Gandhi, Pakistan Jinah,Bangladesh, Dr Mohammad Yunus,Trinidad’labor activist Basdeo,Tubal Uriah Butler, Raffiqe Shah, and Publisher ,Pat Chocolingo,Africas Steve Biko ,Mandela, Julius Neyere, Kenneth Kaunda,Professor Wangari Maathai, Ken Saro -Wiwa, Caribbean Franz Fanon, Dr Walter Rodney, Maurice Bishop,Eric Williams,ANR Robinson, Journalist Jean Dominique, Father Aristide, ardent Pan Africanist Marcus Garvey,CLR James/ George Padmore,Afo American Founding Fathers, and mother, Dr Du Bois, MLK, Malcolm, Stokley Carmichael, Medger Evers, legal stalwart Thurgood Marshall,as well as artist Maya Angelo, all had certain things in common .
These were all Middle class blokes , who understood their role, and were prepared to make personal sacrifices towards a greater end.
Whether they succeeded fully is irrelevant, for they started a spark, for the race in furtherance of their people’s lives. Someone should take the baton.

Stay tuned, for in my next comment, I hope to explain how Jews ,were able to skillfully parlay their victimhood ,via Zionism, into a useful political tool, for fame , power, and glory.
Touch one Jew, or make a derogatory comment, and feel the venom ,of a united people. As for ‘Global Afro Kinkyhead Nation…?’ Well…..someone can fill in de blanks.
Our Globally recognized, nationally ignored hero , Stokley Carmichael also said the following:-“Before a group can enter the open society, it must first close ranks.”
So who is now willing to take the lead, to help make Afro Trinis into a potent force?
We already know the problems . It’s solution time!
A nation cannot fully develop, unless all it’s people share the soci- economic -com political spoils, and are accorded opportunities to grow, in equal fashion.
Excellent response as usual , Bro Rodwell Patton, and Kain.
Tell dem for me , that the Tobago issue/problems , cannot be ignored! It’s essentially, a wider Trinidad and Tobago affair.Ummmmm, Lavantille, Carnage, Mt Dor , Toco, Upper Gonzales etc.
Contrary to numerous popular opinions, the sad irony is that -by any cogent analysis-no single ethnic group, race, tribe, or regional enclave , ain’t doing, that much better, than the other, in T&T.All Trinis , with few exceptions , are hurting, due in great measure, to the actions of self serving elites.
    Feel me ?
The cry to Africans should therefor be -ise up ye mighty people, for you were once Kings , and Queens!
Be vigilant, yet prudent! Remember- JUSTICE , NO PEACE!
I love this land, Y tu?

  10. When the expositions of experiences only become intolerable and drive up tension when it emanates from the “Kinky haired”, it corroborates the very points that are being made. When some only become uncomfortable with such outpourings when it emanates from one side of the ethnic aisle, it poignantly illustrates my point that, The fact of the matter is, those kinky hair people would be acceptable if they would only know their place. If they would only allow themselves to be stratified accordingly so that the aspiring “Massas” enjoy that inverse proportional ethnic ego high that makes their day. But it is too late.

Excuse me but the reasoning of suffering from bad experiences is too close to the talking points in white and other racially supremacist narratives for me to consider it to be rational. There is no such thing as the law of the average man. It is a concoction that is facetiously advanced to silence those the originators consider to be less equal, and so do not deserve to be heard. The fact that it has now become the shared premise among geographies near and afar, makes it all the more imperative for the “kinky haired” to put their trust in themselves, and to avoid like a plague, those who come into their midst bearing what appears on the outside to be pearls of wisdom and tolerance, but on the inside are rancid and acrid regurgitations of past and present narratives and reasonings.

The preponderant examples of this double standard and selective outrage that has become the praxis for the narratives along these lines, serves to make more serious our alarms, and our concern. The “Kinky haired” will not engage in the obsequious attitudes that will make them acceptable to those who are so inundated with ignorant prejudices, that they consider it balanced to erupt only when ethnic concerns are expressed from Africans. So please, spare me your convenient moral and ethical outrage, its credibility has long since lost any value in terms of fairness and balance.
