Get use to these form of political alliances guys , as a way forward. Just in case you forgot, but this still remains a multi ethnic country. With the economic vultures picking away at the soul of the PP party, from fake transparency head guru Ms King, to heavens knows who else, the Opposition needs to be ready come next election.
Presently, Uncle Rowley , and arch nemesis Patrick Manning, seems hellbent on playing their childish , politically destructive games, to neutralize each other, and divide the party.
Let's face it, Madame Beckles is just another clueless, lightweight lawyer , that so happen to be Afrikan , and female. This means absolutely nothing, as far as the wider picture. For the record, Rowley will never become PM of Trinidad and Tobago, as long as Manning is alive, or his numerous rabid fans have a say ,and we knows why.He was born in the wrong island ward, and posses the wrong pigmentation.
I have already told the Rot, what his agenda should be as far as political life in my country . Hey , the wisest woman that ever lived , in the form of my luving Grandmother , always affectionately would say, " every disappointment is for a good." She was from Signall Hill, but maybe the Mason Hall kid's mom was just as wise.
Time to revive the decision to cut off your offensive right hand Uncle Rowley. The people of Tobago needs you, but more importantly , the region , and rest of the world ,would be very appreciative.
Keep it real guys.I cannot dissect a plot like you Madame Linda, and our Phd literature Doc, but knows politics, history, and the social pulse beat of my country. Time to throw away the rose glasses, yes?

What you mean "Look what they come to". There may still be, in Arima, some older person- would have to be 85 or so, who might rememeber how Norma Jute was done in by the selection committee who was choosing the person to run in the Federation elections. They were all for her, until she went to the bathroom, then they viciously changed their votes. I was the sixteen year old, sitting with her mother in the meeting. A mere child, dismissed as unimportant. From that day forward, I have had no faith in politicians.
The circle may be complete, that's all.
